Democratic candidate to the 2008 US elections, Mike Gravel speaks to Google about his general poll plank and on the National Initiative. Listening closely to the later half of his talk, we come to a conclusion that the National Initiative is not such a ‘stupid’ idea. It is actually well-researched idea which no politician would support. It’s something that we need in India as well, being a democracy with a representative structure that sometimes acts against the will of the people.
